A lens evaluation will check backfocus, optical alignment, surface scratches, and mechanical movement to produce a report on the condition of the lens and provide details on recommended work to bring the lens to industry standards.
Complete Lens Servicing
Full lens disassembly allows for cleaning of internal elements, focus mechanisms, iris blades, etc. We then reapply lubricants and reassemble the lens to return the lens to peak conditions.
Cleaning and Maintenance
External elements and housing are cleaned, the lens is collimated to ensure proper backfocus, and the lens is projected to adjust optical alignment and tracking.

If you own extra mounts or uncoated elements for any of your lenses, we can facilitate the changes for you.
element scratch repair
With element repair it is extremely important to consider every aspect of the original lens design. We work with an experienced partner to grind, polish, and reapply AR coatings while keeping the element within specifications of the original design.
Re-Housing
We are currently working with partners to facilitate the rehousing of specific lens sets to bring vintage lenses up to modern cine standards.
